Hi, I am looking for information about my great great grandfather Michael Bambury born around 1836. He married Ellen Ahern around 1859. I believe his father was George Bambury married to Johanna Hennessy, but not sure of this last fact. I could not find a marriage record for Michael and Ellen but did find abaptismal record for Michael’s sons Thomas born 1859 and William my great grandfather born 1865. Any information as to where else I can search would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello again!
The free site www.irishgenealogy.ie has Co. Kerry church records. I located the baptismal record for Michael and you had the correct names for the parents. The Ballylongford RC parish records have a big gap from 1838-1869 https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0654 which may explain why you can't locate the marriage record if the marriage occurred. The records for Thomas and William are also on the site. I also see a baptismal record for a brother Malachy baptized in 1835.

Malachy was not a common given name. The 1901 census for Co.Kerry only had 13 Malchys.
