David cowen and Sarah emigrated to England children were Mary ann b 1839 James b 1840 Sarah b 1847 Margaret b 1849 and John b 1851 they lived in Wapping in 1840 when John was born and were still living there in 1851 with 5 children at some time they were living in Tower Hamlets. Mary Ann married my Great grand father Felix McCarthy and moved to Priory street Colchester
