Hi,  My GGGrandfather Patrick Riley and GGGrandmother Bridget Riley came to the United States between 1855 and 1856.  My GGrandfather Joseph was born on the ship about 3 days before the ship arrived in New York., he had an older brother Thomas. Would like to find out where in Ireland the family was from and more our ancestry.  Any information would be welcomed.  Thank you, Debbie

    I'd like to try to help you but I've a few questions first.

    Do you have any more information such as where the family arrived into America and where they settled?  Do you have a birth certificate or death certificate for your GGrandfather Joseph or any details of him and family on the census records?  And were there any more children born to Patrick and Bridget?

    A few more details like these and we should be able to narrow down the search.
