Hugth King born in Ireland 15 june 1842 I want to find his Parents
natives of Mineagh Hill, parish of Ougiterougf (sic) county Leitrim.
Immigranted from Liverpool,England to New York, New York (Relatives Pat Doolon & Kate O'Reilly ,
William C. Byrn ) 1861-1867. About 1869 married Martha Sutton from Illniois where he died
23 Aug 1884.
Hugh and Martha King had 10 sons . He was a Coal Miner.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Virginia:
The civil parish in Co. Leitrim is Oughteragh. I looked at the 1857 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Oughteragh parish and found seven Kings but none in Mineagh Hill.

Regarding Mineagh Hill, I could not find a townland in Co. Leitrim with this name. However, I did find this link to a Boston Pilot advertisement where his cousin Kate O'Reilly was trying to find Hugh King. The notice said Hugh's father was Patrick King. http://infowanted.bc.edu/record/?recid=37938 Likely the Patrick above in Curraghnabania is the father of Hugh.

Hi Virginia,
I searched births/baptisms on rootsireland.ie for Hugh King born 1842 + - 5 Leitrim years and got 1 match - a baptism in 1846.
It is possible to search by parish (click the magnifying glass at the end of the entry) and it is Outeragh Roman Catholic which looks promising!
Suggest you post on that parish.
