THE ONLY INFO I HAVE IS THAT THERE WAS A FAMILY BIBLE THAT HAD TUAM GALWAY ON IT.MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS FELIX PATRICK HINES. (SOMETIMES IT SEEMS IT WAS INTERCHANGED) HE WAS BORN APRIL 15,1860. BUT NOT SURE IT WAS IN IRELAND LIKE IT STATES ON OUR CENSUS RECORDS ALSO HEARD THAT HE WAS BORN IN PITTSBURGH,PA. LIKE IT SAYS IN HIS OBITUTUARY .SO EITHER THE  FAMILY WENT BACK TO IRELAND AFTER HIS BIRTH, THEY WENT FOR A FEW YEARS AND RETURNED.   I HEARD HE HAD 2 OR 3 BROTHERS THAT CAME WITH HIM  BUT I DONT KNOW WHERE THEY WERE BORN. I THINK IRELAND. I HAVE NO IDEA OF THEIR NAMES OR THAT OF HIS PARENTS. THEY WERE ROMAN CATHOLIC. HE MARRIED A ROSE ANN ONEIL FROM BELFAST. IM NOT SURE IF THAT WAS IN IRELAND OR THE USA. SHE I BELIEVE WAS PROTESTANT.  WE DO HAVE A COPY OF OUR 

 COAT OF ARMS

WHICH HAS O" hEidin.                                             I KNOW NOT MUCH TO GO ON.

THE FIRST RECORD I FOUND ON FELIX IN THE US WAS IN NEW CASTLE, PA 1891 HIS DAUGHTER MARGARETS BIRTH

    It would be quite difficult to find out any more about Fleix Patrick without his parents' names or a townland in Tuam. Is there anything else on his daughter's birth cert that would help, or anything else on the Bible?

    I check the Census 1901 for any Hynes (no Hines) and there are 7 in Tuam and 1  Hynes listed in the Tithes (a James Hynes) and 346 Hynes children whose baptism details are available on Roots Ieland with a baptism/birth date between 1855-1865 so it would be very difficult to reduce this number and be able to say with certainty that they are your ancestors.

    I couldn't find any baptism record on Roots Ireland for a Patrick Felix or Fleix Patrick but I checked Hynes not Hines on that site. Is there any possibility you could find out more your side? It's a pity it is pre-1864 as a birth date as civil registration starts then. If we could even suss out where in Tuam it would be a major step as it could be Kilbannon Parish, Killererin or other parishes around Tuam rather than Tuam itself.

    SERIOUSLY, THANK YOU FOR INVESTIGATION. THIS HAS BEEN A LIFE LONG STRUGGLE YOU HAVE NO IDEA.

    I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS BIBLE ONLY  HEARD OF IT..I HAVE NO IDEA WHO MIGHT EVEN HAVE IT. I ONLY HEARD THAT  TUAM AND GALWAY WERE ON IT. I HAVE BBEN RESEARCHING FOR EVER. THIS MORNING I HIT GOLD WHEN I FOUND A DOCUMENT OF FELIX AND ROSEANNE MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE! IN PITTSBURGH,PA

    AS YOU SUGGESTED I WILL TRY TO LOOK INTO MORE ABOUT THE DAUGHTERS...ALTHOUGH AT ONE POINT I THOUGHT I HAD. ONCE AGAIN YOU ARE A GODSEND THANKS  JOANNE
