I'm looking for information on James O'Regan, born in Ardpatrick in 1801. He married Ellen Barrett, (born 1803 in Buttevant). Their daughter, Bridget O'Regan (born 1842 in Ardpatrick) was my Great Great Grandmother. I wonder if I have any relatives in the area? Thank you. Kind regards, Michelle
as i mentioned in my earlier post my O'Regan line is from Ballyroe lower kilfinane. i found the family living there dating back to at least 1830 based the tithes survey thomas O' regan born about 1815 and his father Joseph. Ardpatrick is very close to Kilfinane. there could be a connection as james is a common name in the family i just do not have any records that show any of Joseph's siblings. do you have any records of siblings for James?
