Maggie Prior was born 16.1.1908 at Killaneen and her birth cert records that her mother was  Mary Turbet.

Thomas Prior and Mary Turbet married 25.2.1895 in Ballinamore chapel:

Hi there Kristen, my great grandmothers name was Mary Prior. She was the oldest daughter of Thomas Prior and Mary Turbet Bork 1901.  She came to the USA.  Would love to learn more information!

I do not have a lot of information on Mary Prior, but I do have some. I have found her arrival to the United States papers and Naturalization papers. She arrived in the United States in August 1920 and applied for naturalization in April 1926. Her siblings were Katie Prior born 1904, John Prior born 1906, Margaret T Prior born 1908 and died 1989, Lizzie Prior born 1909, and Thomas Prior. As far as what I know all of her siblings and her came to the United States other than John. Her father Thomas Prior was born in 1866 Leitrim and died 11 November 1956 in Ballinamore, Leitrim, Ireland. Her mother Mary Turbet was born in 1877 Leitrim and died on 5 May 1929. I have a picture of their grave I will attach it. Thomas Priors father was also Thomas Prior, he was born in about 1845 and died about 1895. Mary Turbett's father was Thomas Turbett and was born about 1845 Leitrim. Hope this helps.
