  • In 1862 in Griffith's Valuation of Antrim, there was one John McFall listed as head of household in Drummuck:

Griffith McFall John Drummuck Racavan [Rasharkin] Co. Antrim

You can see more info at askaboutireland.ie, including maps.

  • Griffiths lists an Ellen McCormick on plot 9 in Drumack. She had 8.5 acres. Probably a widow. I think that’s probably Ann McCormack’s mother. She died in 1871 aged 78. Informant looks to have been another Ellen McCormack. A daughter I would guess.

Here’s Ellen McCormick junior in the 1901 census. Note her widowed sister Ann McFall living with her. Seems to connect the 2 families together nicely.

Ellen/Elenor McCormick was listed in the tithe applotment records for 1834, suggesting her hsuband was dead then.

Part of the 1851 census of Rasharkin has survived. Sadly it doesn’t include the townland of Drumack.

  • Thank you all for your information and efforts.  However I believe that the Ellen McCormack is not related to Ann or Rose McCormack who are my ancestors.
