Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could please help me find the marriage record for John O'Brien who married Catherine Connar/Connor? 

.I know that John O'Brien married Catherine Connor/Connors/O'Connor  on March 7, 1857 in Annagh,Belturbet, County Cavan.  His marriage registry entry listed him as Johannes O'Brien and she was Catherium Connors.  John was born 1837, Catherine 1841.  

I did have a copy of their marriage record but unfortunately, my computer crashed and I lost it.  I have been looking at as many sites I have access to and I cannot find it.

I would be so appreciative if anyone can point me in the right direction or has a free link I can download from. NLI does not cover March so I couldnt get it from there either.

  • The marriage records for Annagh are on-line on the nli site. There were no marriages recorded in that parish in March 1857, so I can’t assist in confirming the information you have:

  • Thank you so much Elwyn and Miriam for taking the time to look this up for me.  I really appreciate it.  I had originaly gotten a copy of the register from a very nice person in Ireland but his information is lost along with my register copy!!

     

    I had 2 dates listed so I believe you are correct in the transcription of the register.  Now I know where it is, I can have my physical copy again!
