I believe that my great grandmother, Susan Patten, was born in County Galway, Parish Dunmore, Town of Carrowkeel, about 1862. Her father was either Timothy or John, and her mother was Mary Kearny.

My grans first husband was Charles Edward Anderson...he d 1916,in WW1. Charles' mother was Winifred Patten,who m James Henry Anderson.
I am in touch with another lady,who is tracing the Andersons/Johnsons/Pattens.
I have been helping her with the Pattens.........Winifreds' father was Timothy Patten.,b.c1833.,d1868.
He was m 20th Feb 1852,in Dunmore,Co Galway,to Mary Keaveny. Fathers' names weren't recorded,but witnesses were Michael Patten and Mary Patten.
Looks like Sallys' ancestor might be the sis of Winifred,dau of Timothy.
