Margaret's mother was Mary Fowley. Mary Fowley married Patrick Burns in August 1898. They had four children: Michael, Margaret, Patrick and Nellie. Mary Burns died in 1910.

1898 marriage see third record https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_re…

The 1901 census has Margaret as 3 months old, however, the civil birth record  has her born March 2 1901

    1911 census  http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Sligo/Sligo_North_Urba…

Mary died December 1910  first record   http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Sligo/Sligo_North_Urba…

  • on census 1901 Patrick Burns is 30 yrs old on census 1911 Patrick Burns is 36 yrs old yet as the census is 10yrs later surely it should say Patrick Burns age was 40 not 36 i know the census sometimes has a yr either side so it could say he was 39 or 41 yrs old but not surely 36yrs old

  • also have found Mary Fowley death record and she was 70 when she died so that would of made her 67 when she had her last child Nellie according to the 1911 census, take a look at 3rd one down on civil records https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_retu…

The age variances between 1901 and 1911 censuses can be very significant. I've seen a number of people who were 20 years older between the two censuses instead of 10 years. I would not be concerned about 4 years difference if the other info e.g. children is consistent.

Not sure I understand the Mary Fowley death record. Mary Fowley became Mary Burns when she married Patrick Burns in 1898. Her death record would show her married name (see her 1910 death record) not her maiden name.
