I am brand new to this, and it's early in my search- but I'm looking for Information on the Mahan family.
I dont have names or much info at this time, but my grandfather told me that his family was originally from Gort.
I will post more when I find more. Any help is much appreciated! :)
Mahon is one of those names that appear in the records in many forms including Mahan, Maon. Search for these variants as well since many people were illiterate and were at the mercy of the person recording the event as to how it was spelt.
