My Gr-Gr-Grandmother was Margaret Ann Germain born in County Cavan in 1812. She married James Sargent in the Church of Ireland, Drumgoon, Cavan on 15 January 1844. She married as Margaret Ann Bruce, widow, as her first husband John Bruce died in 1839.
When my Gr-Gr-Grandfather James Sargent emigrated to New Zealand in 1863 his wife didn't come with him. Margaret Sargent died on 10th July 1865 in Cootehill, Occupation: Shopkeeper's wife. Address: Market Street, Cootehill. I know nothing about their life in Naas, or what the business was called. Can anyone help with any information about them?
