Clarecastle Baptism Records in the Parish books are from 1853.  Killone is the Parish, later years when Civil registration was introduced you have to look under Ennis, in this site......Welcome to Irish Genealogy - Irish Genealogy which is the county Town of County Clare and the registration District for the area.

If you have the approx birth years of the boys then I will search for you. As they may be in another Parish.
I did look for a marriage for Thomas ansd Bridget but if they married before 1840/4 they wouldb't be listed in the Civil site.

Thanks for replying. Birth/baptism details are as follows taken from Catholic Baptism Registers.

Clarecastle Co Clare - Martin 1834, Patrick (Patricius) 1837, Thomas 1843.

Killaloe, Clare, Doora and Kilraghtis - John 1850, Henry 1852.

Parents Thomas Meade and Bridget (Biddy) McMahon probably married 1834 Miltown Malbay, Clare. The questions that spring to mind, were there no daughters or only Maria? were the sons the only ones baptised?

A Maria Meade arrived in Melbourne Australia in 1866 aged 19 years.

I cannot find any other girls.

The Maria Meade aged 19 years I cannot see her record.

Did Martin Meade go to Australia?
Henry Meade.......did he go to the USA?

Hello Margot,

Martin, I am not sure where he finished up. Henry went to Boston USA. John went to Purna Newcastle West, Limerick. Patrick Thomas and Maria to Australia. 

It seems you have found the same black hole I have encountered.

Maria may have been born/baptised some where in Co Limerick, but I have not been able to discover anything. The parents Thomas and Biddy were living in Co Limerick at different times.
