Good afternoon!
My 2x GGM Maria Connor married John McCabe and had numerous children with him before marrying my 2x GGF Laurence McGovern in 1876.
A number of McCabe descendents have the marriage date of John McCabe and Maria Conner as November 23, 1857. One mentions that they got married in Colmcille Parish, so this parish is likely where Maria was baptized. Maria's estimated birth is 1840. I have not been able to confirm this record.
I have searched the Colmcille parish records for that time frame and can not find their marriage record. I am intested in finding their marriage record to see what information it might have as far as sponsors, but also to confirm that if Maria got married in the Colmcille parish, she was likely baptized there. I don't have any information on her family. I have the Dromard parish record of her marriage to Laurence, and the baptisms of her two daughters (some McCabe children). I don't have any other information on her parents/siblings.
Any help in finding her records would be greatly appreciated!

The marriage was in the parish you suspected - the names are in Latin, which might have made them a little difficult to spot..
Mariam Connor & Joannem McCabe, married 23rd November 1857, Colmcille RC Parish, Co. Longford -see th 4th entry on the left page
The witnesses are Eugenius (Owen/Eoghan) Reilly & Anna Connor
