Martin O'Brien and Margaret Cliffart/Clifford

Martin and Margaret married in Ballina and had 3 children there: 

Anna O'Brien baptized 25 March 1843 in the parish of Ballina (residence in Newtown)

Hanora  baptized 18 Jan 1845 in the parish of Ballina (residence in Newtown)

Margaret baptized 24 Nov 1847 in the parish of Ballina (residence in Newtown)

They came to America some time in the early 1850's and settled in Rutland County, Vermont. There first child born here was Michael born between 1852 and 1854.

Martin worked in a slate quarry there and died 2 May 1873 Castleton, Rutland, Vermont of Typhoid Fever.
