  • Hi there,

If you go to www.rootsireland.ie and scroll down the left hand side to county genealogy centres, then it brings you to a map of ireland.  Click on south tipperary.   then put in mary casey 1821 + and - 5 years.

You'll get two hits.  One of them is in the parish of st marys clonmel.  the other one is somewhere in Co. tipperary.

You'll need to pay to view the actual record, about €5

    Hope this helps,

    regards,

    Anne Dennehy

  • Hi, my ancestor Mary A Casey arrived in Australia 1867 aboard "Burlington". She was a widow with two children John 15 and Sarah. I'm related through Sarah. I am looking for any info on Mary, her husband and her ancestors. I thought she may have come from Enniskillen, Fermanagh. On the ships lists of Widow and their families, 38 yrs old, C of E and could read and write.
