I am searching for any information on Mary MAGUIRE baptised 27 May 1857 Dublin. The following is all I know about her.
1901 Census Mary is living at 6.2 Lisnaskea, Lisnaskee, Fermanagh
Mary is age 48 years single Head of household occupation Seamstress
John S Maguire 16 years son
Mary J Maguire 14 years daughter
Maggie A Maguire 9 years daughter
This census does state Mary was born 1853 but her baptism was 1851, she could not read or write
In 1911 Census Mary is living at 1.2 Shareholders Row Lisnaskea, Fermanagh
Mary is 58 years Head Religion R.C
Maggie Ann 18 years daughter single
Patrick Joseph 1 years grandson
My DNA connection to Mary is via her sister and three other siblings all bapties in Dublin.
Mary’s eldest son Patrick Joseph b; 1883 Lisnaskea , left Ireland and went to England.
Would be grateful for any help in finding more Information on this family in Ireland

Mary Jane in 1887. The informant was a Margaret Maguire. Who might she be?

I notice the above birth was in the workhouse, but sadly the admission records for Lisnaskea workhouse have been lost. So no help there.
You say that Mary Maguire was baptised in Dublin in 1857, and that some other members of the family were too. How sure are you about that? In both censuses Mary gives Fermanagh as her place of birth and for her children too. Most Roman Catholics were baptised within a very short period after birth (just a few days), so you would expect that to have been in Fermanagh, not Dublin. Especially in the 1850s. The railway arrived in Lisnaskea in 1858 but prior to that Dublin was a 2 or 3 day journey for most folk. The RC baptism records for Aughalurcher RC parish, which includes Lisnaskea, start in 1835 and are on-line, but Mary Maguire is such a common name in that area (Maguire is the most common surname in Fermanagh) that without parents’ names it could be difficult to identify the right one.
Discrepancies in ages in Irish censuses and other official documents are very common. People didn’t really celebrate birthdays then and ages were often just guessed, so the variations you have found are pretty common.
