I need to see if there is a parish birth or baptism record for a Phillip McCabe born 1867. May be spelled Philipum. He married a Grace Henry in Scotland. Philip's parents were John McCabe and Mary Connelly. If there is a record, I need to see if I can get a certified copy. If they do that.

Hi,
This is his birth record 2nd entry down. If you apply for a birth cert, the info that you see here will be pasted onto a formal cert. and will be about 15Euro rom the office, more if you send for it.
This is all you will need. Unless it is for something legal. The address is Corglass, the map is below.

Margot, thank you. It is for my Irish citizenship application. So, it needs to be a legal and certified record.

Margot, would you also be able to find a Michael (Michaelem) Shea? Married a Johanna Casey. Michael was born in Kerry 1853, parents Denis (Dionisii) Shea and Bridget (Brigidae) Quirk

Hi,
If you look up Phillip McCabe and his birth year you will see this https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details-civil/7d1bf97485911?b=https%3A%2F%2Fcivilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie%2Fchurchrecords%2Fcivil-perform-search.jsp%3Fnamefm%3Dphilip%26namel%3Dmccabe%26location%3D%26yyfrom%3D1867%26yyto%3D1867%26submit%3DSearch%26sort%3D%26pageSize%3D100%26century%3D%26decade%3D%26exact%3D%26ddBfrom%3D%26ddMfrom%3D%26ddDfrom%3D%26ddPfrom%3D%26mmBfrom%3D%26mmMfrom%3D%26mmDfrom%3D%26mmPfrom%3D%26yyBfrom%3D%26yyMfrom%3D%26yyDfrom%3D%26yyPfrom%3D%26ddBto%3D%26ddMto%3D%26ddDto%3D%26ddPto%3D%26mmBto%3D%26mmMto%3D%26mmDto%3D%26mmPto%3D%26yyBto%3D%26yyMto%3D%26yyDto%3D%26yyPto%3D%26locationB%3D%26locationM%3D%26locationD%3D%26locationP%3D%26keywordb%3D%26keywordm%3D%26keywordd%3D%26keywordp%3D%26event%3DB%26district%3D
Follow the bottom lines and you can request a full Cert. from there.this is the main site link. I should have given you this.
https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/This is the only one that matches for Michael Shea..............did they marry in Tralee?
must add, not all records are on line.
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1867/11507/8232086.pdfBefore 1864 you need to look in the Parish books. click into Kerry and then Tralee. Great that you know the year and his parents names. It's easy to use once you get to know it.

Margot, Thank you. I do not know where they were married, but I think I found my Michael Shea... Area - KERRY (RC) , Parish/Church/Congregation - GLENBEIGH/GLENCAR
Baptism of MICHAEL SHEA of GAULANE on 30 September 1853... Would I go to the same above address you gave me to order the baptism record? -

Going by the llink you have sent, you would have to contact the Church. You would get a small Certificate with the info that is on this record you have seen.
St James' in Glenbeigh.

Margot, thank you so much. I appreciate the help. I will contact them now. What, really? That's awesome. So, one of your family members baptized mine. That is so interesting and exciting.
