Hugh McCullough emmigrated to Wilmington, Delaware U.S. from Londonderry in Jun 1833 on the Cupid. On the ship's passenger information, it lists him having been from Donegal and born about 1813. Prior to his emigration, I have been unable to find him or his family in Donegal.

Tariyorkie:
Not sure if Hugh was Roman Catholic or Church of Ireland but finding church records pre-1850 is extemely difficult. I did search the subscription Roots Ireland but the earliest record for that name was in 1887.
I looked at the Griffiths Valuation data from and the McCullough/McCullagh households were mainly found in the southern Donegal (Inishkeel, Drumhome, Killybegs parishes) or up in the northeast (Moville and Muff parishes).
Have you considered DNA testing?

I did do DNA testing through Ancestry several years ago and nothing has come up so far. Still looking for Hugh and his family in Donegal. Thanks for the hints on the parishes, I will keep looking.
