Hi,
I am researching John McDonald born about 1848. He married Catherine Heffernan about 1872. They ar both listed on the 1901 & 1911 census living at( Johnswell, Rathcoole, Kilkenny, Ireland)
I am not sure of their date of death as I would love to discover where they were buried. Where would the locaal RC grave yard be for that area.
Thank you in advance for any information on these people or place where they lived.

I located the 1872 marriage record plus the death records for Catherine and John. From what I can see, St. John's parish in Kilkenny city would have been their parish. There is a cemetery for the parish and someone transcribed the headstones. From my quick review, I did not see a John and Catherine McDonald transcription but you should do your own review.
