I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and located an 1850 baptismal record for a Philip McGahan in Crosserlough RC church. See below. Crosserlough is a good deal to the southwest of Cootehill. This Philip had two older sisters: Mary in 1847 and Bridget in 1849.
