Hi,
A check of subscription site www.rootsireland.ie and www.findmypast.ie - for the years 1825 to 1835 did not give any result.
While the name "William McNamara" is on record in that period, I did not find any marriage record to a Bridget Mulqueeny.
The surname "Mulqueeny is mainly found in North County Clare - Kilfenora/Ballyvaughan area mainly.
I attach a record of a William McNamara who was born in Tulla parish and another who was born in Killaloe parish.
The one from Tulla appears to have served in New South Wales.
Perhaps you may be able to get further information.

RootsIreland has a baptism for a John McNamara in KILLADYSART in Clare in 1833. Parents: John (not Wm) and Bridget Meehan (a variation of McQueeny). Is it possible that your John's father was John, not Wm.?
If you have a marriage or death record for your John, perhaps post it here?
Also, if he married, what were his children's names?
Any info would help.

Dear McCoy and Patricia, thank you for all this marvellous research. How kind of you both to look into my family. I’m going to cross reference what you found with my notes and ask a few more questions of my older relatives. Greatly appreciate your interest- mishmc

Hi
wondering if he ever found out more information about William and Bridget? I thinking they could be my 3x great grandmother Anne’s parents. I know she was County Clare and her parents were William McNamara and Bridget.
