John born in 1783 and came to Canada in 1823 , with wife Anne Martin and sons Christopher, Richard , John W. and daughter Mary Anne.

  • HI Sheila Mary, a quick search on Roots Irleand returned no baptisms to suit your details, there are some baptisms  in Meath and next door Louth (some of Meath diocese is in Louth). Irish recorcds at that remove are church reliant and RC church was operationg under a cloud in the 1700s, Penal Laws, some kept them most did not, Church of Ireland recordsd were over 40% lost in the Civil War in 1922. Boylan is a common enough name around Meath, there are 5 Boylans listed in the Flax Growers in 1796 but that is only farmers growing flax, https://www.failteromhat.com/flax1796.php

Sorry the news is not better but at that remove you are stymied by the lack of records.
