I would like, if possible to find the Marriage of Michael Corbett and Margaret Ryan, likely in the 1830’s Tipperary area and is there any way I can find out the name of Ellen’s parents please?

I would also like to find their deaths, Michael Corbett and Margaret Corbett and know this to be before 1864, again possibly Tipperary area.

I know they had a son Patrick circa 1836.

Thank you.

The subscription site Roots Ireland has a March 14 1830 baptismal record for a Patrick Corbett with parents Michael Corbett and Margaret Ryan in the Newcastle RC church. Newcastle parish covers Co. Waterford and Co. Tipperary just south of Clonmel and east of Ardfinnan.

There was a sister Honor baptized February 4 1829 brother Eugene baptized August 3 1836 sister Johanna baptized May 23 1842. All three baptisms were in Newcastle.

I checked for a marriage record and there was a February 10 1828 marriage between a Michael Corbet and a Maria Ryan in Newcastle. I looked at the actual register and it does show Maria. So is this a different couple or a record for your Michael Corbett and Margaret Ryan.  I would tend to support that this is the correct record. Michael Corbett was not a common name and the wedding was one year before the birth of Honor.

If they died before 1864, I don't believe you will find their death records since Newmarket RC parish did not record deaths of parishioners.
