Would like to find the origin of my 2nd gr grand Michael F. O'Reardon was b. abt 1857 (varies wildly) in Ireland and marries Abbie Cody in Boston Nov 29, 1876.  Their only son Michael J Riordan was my gr grandfather.  Michael F. had a brother Martin O'Reardon who married a Hannah Cronin in Boston on Jul 6 1876.  Martin was b. abt 1843.  They both have listed on their death records, Michael O'Reardon and Catherine Keefe of Ireland, as parents.

Michael F. remarried on Jan 4 1897 to Mary Louisa Kane in Boston.

    I went to www.rootsireland.ie and did a search for Michael O Reardon, father Michael O Reardon and mother Catherine Keefe.

    I found one record containing all this information in Co. Cork

    Michael O Reardon b. 1849 in Co. Cork

    I also found another record for a Martin O Reardon, father Michael O Reardon and mother Catherine Keefe

    Martin O Reardon b. 1833 in Co. Cork

    You would have to pay to view these records but it isn't expensive about €5 per view, but I think it's safe to say these are possibly your ancestors. Their baptismal records may contain more information on parents and godparents and townslands etc,.

    Kilworth Parish is where Catherine and Michael Riordan were married and also where their son Michael was baptised.

    Martin is listed as baptised in Temp Parish.  Not sure if that is an actual parish or if it stands for temporary.

    Wonderful to narrow it down.
