Looking for information for Michael McGinnis who was born in August 1820 in County Meath. He immigrated around 1847-1850 and settled in Illinois. He married Catherine Smith in 1853 who was also born in Ireland in May of 1826. They had 10 children.

He passed away in Livingston, IL May 21, 1907.

Hello again!
The subscription site Roots Ireland had one Michael McGinnis or variant baptismal record in Co. Meath in 1826 and two in 1815 but no records in other years in that time period. Possibly your Michael was baptized in a parish that no longer has records back to 1820. Do you know his religious denomination?
Since Michael died in 1907 in Illinois, is his death record available and does it show Parents names?
