Seeking information about my GGG Grandparents Michael O'Shannassy (farmer) and Catherine Healey (Galway). It is thought the family worked on a Lord Trench Estate in Ballinasloe. One son, Michael (b. abt. 1839) emigrated to Australia ab. 1869. Some brothers went to the U.S.A.
Name would have been spelled O'Shaughnessy and Healy. Townlands were most likely Ahascragh and Killosolan. Ballinasloe. Co. Galway.
