Thank you for your message. : Do you know much about their emigration? The dates, the reason why they left, who they may have travelled with?..etc..Generally more information was given at the port of arrival rather than the port of departure. If you knew which city they arrived at (e.g. Liverpool, New York, etc.), this could be a good place to find more information. -And perhaps even find out an exact place of origin.

How firm is your information about when they came to america? I'm curious because my relative is William Moore born June 24 1832 in Ireland and come over when he was 18 so that would be 1850. There is a rumor he came over with his brother but I am not for sure. I know he married S Elizabeth Baird September of 1872 in Stewart County Tennessee.
