Trying to verify parents of Patrick Morris 1812 - October 11, 1887. I have him born in Castlerea but found a christening record for a Patricium for May 8, 1816 in Killukin. Could this be same child or different family?

Do you know for sure that the Patrick Morris who died near Roscommon town in 1887 is your ancestor? I don't think that he would be born near Castlerea and I don't believe the 1816 Patricium is connected to the Patrick who died n 1887.
The RC records for Roscommon town start in 1820 so if your Patrick was born around 1812 likely a baptismal record is not available.
