Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Mayvilla is not an official townland but it appears to be a place name wiithin the townland of Ballindrumlea in Kilkeevin civil parish. This would be near the town of Castlerea.

There was a Hynes family (actually two brothers) in the 1901 census for Ballindrumlea. http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Roscommon/Castlereagh/Ballindrumlea/1664051/ The owner of the property was a John Hynes so maybe he was the father of the brothers.
When was your John born?

The subscription site Roots Ireland has Ardrahan baptismal records back to 1839 but when I searched for John from 1841-1851 in Ardrahan, I did not get a record.
Not sure of his emigration year but he must have migrated to Mayvilla at some point.

Thank you Roger, perhaps you can help me with this other member?
I also have discovered that 3 other relatives are the illegitimate children of John Martyn of Tulira castle. They were sent to Australia early 1800's with servants, money and set up with land and a hotel. I have found what could be James Martyns arrival in Port phillip bay Victoria Australia. They have his surname, were very wealthy having owned multiple propertys in the city of Carlton Melbourne Australia. The 2 sons occupation was 'Gent' and the sister married and was as stated in her will "independant of her husband' The only problem i have is that their father John Martyn himself has little to no records apart from his birth, marraige and death and the ties to the castle. I found a land tithe that states he built a house alongside the castle and this is where possibly the 3 children and their mother Mary Brennan lived. The 3 children were born between 1828 to 1835. He is mentioned in their will as being set up in australia but not by name. Very intriguing.
