What year did John Reil die? Do you know where in County Westmeath he died? Importantly, what religious denomination did he belong to? For example, was he Roman Catholic or did he belong to the Church of Ireland? With enough information, an Ireland Reaching Out volunteer familiar with Westmeath may be able to assist you in locating the cemetery where he was buried. 

Also, do you know if he had lived in Simonstown, Civil Parish of Mayne, County Westmeath?
