I have  learned about my great-great grandfather, Luke Mulready, born 3 Jan 1827/1828, to a Thomas Mulready and a Mary Clarke (married May 1822), that he came to the U.S. in the 1840's, and was naturalized here in 1867, worked in a shoe factory, married Sarah Carroll born Dec 1833? to Martin Carroll and Mary Burke, also immigrating from an unknown location in Ireland, had six children, (the second of whom is my great grandfather), died of tuberculosis at age 53, buried in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Rockland, MA.

I hope to learn who his siblings were, if any of them also came to the US, which parish they lived in when he was born, where his parents and other family are buried.

    I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland and located two baptismal records for brothers to Luke but did not locate Luke's baptismal record. See transcriptions below. The baptisms were in Mullingar RC parish. There was also another Peter record in August 1836 with the same parental names but in Dysart RC parish which borders Mullingar RC parish. I think this record was likely a different family but you may want to look thru the registers and see the records . The Mullingar RC records have some gaps in the 1820s which may account for not finding a record for Luke  https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0937    Dysart register https://registers.nli.ie/parishes/0937  Another thought is that the Dysart RC records do not start until August 1836 and possibly Luke and other siblings were baptized in that parish but before records exist.  None of the records show a townland of residence.   The 1861 Griffiths Valuation does show a Thomas Clarke on Brewery Lane in Mullingar town.
