   Anne Newcombe (born c1814), a daughter of Michael and Mary Newcombe, left County Mayo and was in Upper Canada by 1831.

    Thanks for your message and interest in Ireland Reaching Out.

     

    Do you have any other information on Anne that you can share? Do you know what part of Co. Mayo she came from? As I mentioned in one of my previous responses it is important to know the name of the parish that she came from if you want to search the church records for her. Is there any placename mentioned on any of the documentation that you have belonging to her?

     

    Have you looked into her immigration records to see if there is anymore information there? The Natioanl Library and Archives of Canada is a good place to start for this. Here is the link:
