Hi,
Hoping someone can help me. I am looking for two sisters who were sent to what I'm told was an orphanage in 1946, following their mothers death. Their father died of tb in 1948. I have been told the orphanage was called 'St Bernadettes'. Any suggestions on how to advance from here? TUSLA sent an information request form to me but told me on the phone it's unlikely they will find anything. I have copies of their birth certs.

St. Bernadette's, Bonnington, Montenotte, Cork . and there was also a St Bernadettes Industrial school in Dundrum C. Tipperary

What were their names? Birth dates? Parents' names? What county?

Names are Pauline Christine O'Reilly - DOB 01/01/1942 & Irene J O'Reilly DOB 02/01/1940. Their parents lived in Kimmage dublin and their names were Hubert O'reilly & Anne O'Neill. The mother died first.
