I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland for all of Ireland and did not find the McDermott/Rose Murtha marriage record or baptismal records for any of their children. Likely these events were held in a parish that no longer has records back to the 1820s.
From the Griffiths Valuation records for the mid-19th century, Murha was mainly found in Co. Longford but if the spelling was Murtagh then there are many other counties primarly in the Midlands where the surname was found.
Have you considered a DNA test?
