Hi I just signed up and don't know what parish my Carney ancestors belonged to. My great, great grandfathers name was Henry Carney, born in County Mayo in 1839. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and the earliest Henry Carney baptismal record in Co. Mayo was in 1855. Likely your Henry was baptized in a parish that does not have records back to 1839.
