Searching information regarding my 4 x great grandparents Patrick Kelly and Catherine Maher, their son John Kelly b 17th may 1838 at Kingstown, Dublin he arrived in Australia Oct 1858 aged 20, his immigration paperwork showed his father as a grocer.
This is confirmed also on a Medical record in 1910, John married Mary Ann Field from Cavan, Ireland in the Lachlan District of N.S.W in 1863, being in Australia I am struggling to find anymore information about Patrick, Catherine, John or Mary ann

  • Do you have an approx age for Mary Ann Field? On rootsireland there are  births for two Mary Fields in Cavan. Sadly, both of them were abandoned babies.

If you have an approx age, I will send you the appropriate record.
