I have discovered two birth records from Kildimo that appear to fit into my family tree. Bridget Lynch (born 9 January 1839) and Patrick Lynch (born 11 September 1841). They are the children of Patrick Lynch and Mary Burns. I believe Patrick may be my great grandfather who came to Plainfield, New Jersey in the 1860's. He married Alice Vokes of Limerick in 1868 in the United States. They had two children who survived to adulthood: Edward Thomas Lynch (1874-1925) and Mary Alice Lynch Melvin (1881-1938). I have been looking for Patrick's birth record for a very long time. The parents' name and the day of birth match those on his death certificate; however, the death certificate lists the year as 1844. Feel free to contact me if you have any information on this family.
