On the 19 September 1835, my Great Great Grandmother Mary Moore (goes by Mary Ann) was baptised at the Cathedral of the Assumption. Her parents were Patrick Moore and Margaret Ryan. In 1856 Mary Moore was married in a logging area known as Fitzroy Harbour near the now Ottawa Canada. I think she may have emigrated in 1855 or 1856. The sponsors on her baptism information are John Moore and Mary Fitzgerald. A John Moore was also a sponsor on her marriage documents in Canada. Has anyone come across Moore and Ryan family members from this area of Carlow? There is a possibility that Patrick and Margaret lived on Mill St. opposite Carlow Castle. Any Moores or Ryans part of this Catholic Church in Carlow City? Thanks for any tips at how to use this info to search for this family.
