I am seeking information on Patrick Stevens (or Stephens), born circa 1790. I believe he was born in Donegal, Ireland or in England. I believe he died in Gorey, Wexford, Ireland circa 1866. His son Robert Stevens (or Stephens) was born 10 July 1823 in Donegal, Ireland and settled in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA, where he died 11 December 1902.
Robert was married to Bridgett O’Donnell, born circa 1835 in Donegal, Ireland. They were married in Waltham, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA on 21 March 1850.
Please provide any information about the above-named individuals.

Roots Ireland did not have a baptismal record for Robert Stephens/Stevens around 1823. Did not know the religion for Robert but there are no RC records back that far and find C of I records is also difficult.
There is an 1866 civil death index record for a Patrick Stevens in the Gorey registration district. Eventually the 1866 records will be made available online at www.irishgenealogy.ie You can write to the General Register Office to get a copy of the record which would cost 4-5 euros Let me know if you want to contact GRO.
