Searching for information on Philip Reilly, married to Catherine Tormey, had three sons, Bernard born on June 2, 1864; John F, born on 1 June 1866; and Joseph born on 30 April 1872. It appears that Bernard may have migrated to the United States, specifically to Jersey City, New Jersey according to the Genealogical Society of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. John, my grandfather migrated to Cuba in the 1890's, and finally settled in Puerto Rico around 1913, according to the U.S. Census in 1920. The third son, Joseph, I have no infomation on, and would like if anyone can provide some guidance as to whether he migrated elsewhere, or if he stayed in Ireland.

Attached FilesReilly of Oldcastle 1901.pdf (147.19 KB)
Phillip ,
I have discovered your request today, returning to check a listing I made awhile ago. I have just re-opened a file I made earlier this year and remembered a name on an 1856 Marriage record I have taken. It was for a Catherine Reilly, of Oldcastle. I now see greater significance, perhaps, than I saw originally. Anyway, I searched to discover the following information, which I have copied into a PDF. Not sure if it has any value for you. Perhaps I should add background from my record. It involved the marriage of a Steward (0ccupation) name of Davidson, from Glebe ( an estate) in Loughcrew, to a Walton ( my interest). Catherine Reilly was a witness ( next to Davidson ) Witness next to Walton was a Kiernan, a male. Walton lived in Oldcastle. My assumption is that Reilly witnessed for Walton and therefore came from Oldcastle. I did check Loughcrew and Moylagh for Reillys. There were none. In 1901, 5 Joseph Reillys are listed, aged about 28, but none are in the Oldcastle region.
