Hi like many other people looking for their family in Ireland, I am traveling in 2024. I would like nothing else but to shake the hand of a very distant relative. I am looking for descendants of:
Malachy Quilan born 1813 to Mary Ryan and Tim Quinlan- Clonouty, Tipperary
Mary Ryan born 1790 to 1795? in Tipperary Co. mother of Malachy Quinlan
Mary Dillon born 1813 to 1820? ** they had their daughter baptised in Moneygall. Tipperary and Offaly: wife of Malachy
Margaret Quinlan twin sister of my 2x grandmother born to Malachy and Mary Dillon.
Mary Quinlan Flynn was my great-gr grandmother twin to Margaret born 1838 and died in New Jersey Usa around 1869. She married Michael Flynn in Bolton England in 1862.
Do native Irish have this burning interest as us Americans, Candians and others do to connect with their distant cousins? Any suggestions on how to find distant cousins? I have my DNA on 4 sites and also have my GEDmatch.
thank-you!
Debbie Colson
