Hi

Looking for information on one of my relatives who lived in Newport area.

His name was Patrick Quinn, born in 1790 in Ballycahane, Newport. He had a son with the same name who was born in 1835, baptised Baurnadomenny, Kilcommon and moved to Illinois where he died in 1891.

My greatgrandfather with the same name was born in Tipperary in 1855 but have had no luck finding any other info.

My family of 24 are heaidng over to Ireland in October (fingers crossed) and will be heading to Newport to hopefully uncover some info and see where my family came from.

Any information would be helpful.

Thanks

Leo Quinn
