I am a descendant of James Rall of Westmeath b 1815. I believe his parents were Thomas Rall and Catherine Burns. This is all I know about him and am interested in any information that might be available on him and his parents.

I searched the subscription site Roots Ireland but did not find a baptismal record for James Rall. I did not locate a Tithe record for Thomas Rall.
The Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Co. Westmeath for the early 1850s did not show a Rall record but there were three Rail records as follows:
James Rail Derrynagar townland Faughalstown parish
John Rail Granard Rd. Rathgarve parish
Thomas Rail Townparks Rathgarve parish.
