Hi, I'm trying to help a gentleman find his Irish ancestors but I'm so confused with all the Latin names. I've got back to Richard Keating who according to the 1911 uk census came from Cahir, (although the spelling is wrong on the census).
1911 census. Limehouse, London
Richard Keating. 50 Head. Birthplace Calcir Co Tip Resident Ireland, County Tipperary.

I have found a possible baptism in 1861, Cahir but it is in Latin so I am not able to tranlate. Here is a link.

I think his parents are John and Julie and if they are I cannot find a marriage that would fit or any other siblings of Richard
Any help would be appriciated. Thank you.

I looked at the Cahir parish register and if I have the correct record that Richard is not a Keating. It appears his surname is Donnel/Donnelly. His mother is a Keating. John and Julia are correct.

Thank you for your reply, just shows how good my Latin is. Given the information on the 1911 uk census do you think it may be the same person?

No, the record in question was for a Richard Donnel/Donnelly whose mother was a Keating so not the same person.
