John Rowan (Ruane) and Kate Mellody were my great grandparents. Kate was from Guilka. They married in 1887 in Mountbellew. 4 of their 5 daughters emigrated to the US. Nora and Kathryn had several children in New York. Their offspring are in NY, FL and MI. Bridget stayed in Ireland. Her grandson John Joe, his three children and three grandsons live in Galway and Mayo.

Thanks for your message. Below are the 1901 and 1911 census records for the family. They lived in Cloonkeenkerril towland in Clonkeen civil parish.
Kate died before March 31, 1901 but I did not locate a death record. John died in 1940. See below.

I live in Michigan and have been to Cloonkeenkerril, most recently in August 2017. I stayed with my cousins. I have not found a death record for Kate Mellody, either. It may require a special request although I don't know how to go about it. We believe she died giving birth to her last daughter Bridget in the house in Cloonkeenkerrill. Is there some place we could write to for this documentation?
