I am looking for any information relating to John T Battle, born in Ireland in abt 1834. He married "Kate" and had a son, John C Battle, born possibly in Dublin, definitely in Ireland in 1864. They moved to the UK, certainly before 1878, as they had two further children, James and Mary, both born 1878 in St Helens, Lancashire, before they moved to Liverpool, where they appear on the 1881 census. This shows John T to be a Chemist and the son John C to be a plumber.

Any information anyone can provide here would be much appreciated.John T Battle

     Then I went onto the website : www.familysearch.org and found - amonst other things if (its him ) he was born in 1834 it could give you his parents names, there are other John Battles so you would have to cross check - there aren't too many with that surname so it makes it easier  Hope it helpsMaureen O'Connor NZ
