My GG-Grandmother was Ann or Anna Hayden (b. abt. 1827) from County Tipperary. She was 23 when she married my GG-Grandfather, Michael Reardon, age 26 (b. abt. 1820 - 1824), a carpenter, from Co. Tipperary in Boston, Massachusetts in August, 1850. According to the marriage records, Ann's father's name was Thomas Hayden and Michael's father's name was Richard Reardon.
Ann and Michael Reardon moved to Northampton, Massachusetts where they had their first two children Richard (b. 1852) and Thomas (b. 1853). We believe that the Reardons moved to Northampton to be near relatives. Because of DNA matches we suspect they they were related to James Dillon and his wife Ellen Going who lived in Northampton in the 1850's. The Dillons were also from Ireland.
By 1854, Ann, Michael and their children moved to Troy, N.Y. where they lived near James Reardon and his wife Bridget Fitzgerald and their children. Bridget and James were married at St. Peter's RC Church in Troy, N.Y. circa 1850/51. James Reardon was probably Michael's brother, but we have no documentary evidence to prove this assumption. In the 1855 Census for Troy, NY, James, Bridget and their family were listed 3 families prior to Michael's family.
James also named his first two children Richard James (b. 1851) and Thomas Charles (b. 1853). Their first names are the same as those of Michael and Ann's first two children.
Michael and Ann named their third child, James (b.1854), another child, William A. (b.1858) and their youngest child, Julia A. (b. 1866). In the 1900 census, Ann stated that she had given birth to 15 children, 5 of whom wre still living. I don't know the names of their other children; I presume thay died young because they were not listed in any of the census records.
According to the records of the priest at St. Peter's R.C. Church in Troy, NY where Ann and Michael's children James, William and Julia were baptized, both Ann and Michael were from Tipperary. Both Michael (d. 1895) and Ann (d. 1908) died while living at the Little Sisters of the Poor, Home for the Aged, in Troy, NY. According to Ann Hayden Reardon's death certificate, her father was Thomas Hayden and her mother was Ellen Mahar. Since Ann was from County Tipperary, I'm presuming that Thomas and Ellen were from County Tipperary. According to Michael's death certificate, his father was Ridchard Reardon and his mother was Julia Casey. I'm also presuming that they were from County Tipperary.
Michael Reardon's naturalization declaration also states that he was from Tipperary. Michael embarked from the port of Liverpool and he arrived in Boston in July, 1849.

James and Bridget moved to Pekin, Tazewell County, Illinois where they were listed in the 1860 census. James and Bridget's third child was named Julia Ann (b1856). Presumably she was named after her grandmother, Julia Casey who married RIchard Reardon. James and Bridget had three more children: Mary Bridget (b. 1858?) Michael James (b.1858?) and Ellen (b.1861). James either was drafted or enlisted in the Union Army in 1861 and was killed in 1864.
James Reardon's family's Ancestry tree address is:

I have had no luck finding Michael and James Reardon's baptismal records or Ann Hayden's baptismal records. I have also not been able to locate the marriage records of either Thomas Hayden and Ellen Mahar or those of Julia Casey and RIchard Reardon.
Like everyone else, our family would very much like to know where in Ireland we came from.
Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

An Ann Hayden was baptized 30 Aug 1824 in the RC parish of Portlaw, Co. Waterford. Parents: Thomas Hayden, Ellen Maher. Sponsors were Richard Keefe and Mary Walsh. I hope this is helpful.
