Trying to trace great grandparents and older from clonakilty, my grandmother was Ellen (Eileen) Teresa Tobin 1930- 2004. Her brother Michael Joseph Tobin 1927-1998. Among other siblings. Would appreciate any help. Great grandparents names Patrick and Mary Tobin no exact dates available.

We only have access to civil birth records up to 1919 so we can't locate a civil birth record for Michael or Ellen. I looked for civil marriage records for a Patrick Tobin wife Mary in the Clonakilty registration area. I located one possible marriage in 1918 https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1918/09714/5524456.pdf Note, the mother's maiden name was also Tobin.

my mother told me that they were both called Tobin which I thought was a bit strange but there you have it, from there I guess it's possible to trace details of their parents?
